Outfit Post: {Pink & Blue for Spring!}

I’ve noticed a pattern in my pictures that I am incapable of looking at the camera. Legit. Every single picture I took when I was looking at the camera, my eyes were closed! Apparently I like trying to be mysterious by looking down. Is it working? Probably not. I need to work on my ability to keep these damn eyes OPEN!

Note to self: never stand in direct sunlight, or you could be mistaken for a ghost. Seriously, where is spring?! My ghostly complexion is starting to freak me out. In these pictures it may look nice and sunny, but trust me, I was freezing (there were some serious goose-bump pictures in this round of pictures).

So I’m not in love with this outfit (the bagginess of the shirt with these jeans gives me an odd shape), but I am a fan of the combination of pink and blue. I LOVE putting pink and blue together, especially royal blue and fuchsia (the colour of my lipstick). I love the mix of two such deep and vibrant colours. I also wore my new pink shoes, new pink earrings from Modern Mix Boutqiue (5$ off for WIB readers!), and just to be even more crazy, I added pink lipstick. Pink is apparently the colour of this spring, which I’m totally going to embrace (huge pink fan over here…the colour, not the singer). It’s so feminine and pretty, which is always the look I strive for when getting dressed. This was supposed to be a very laid back, girly kind of look. What do you think? Mission accomplished?
