Just a short post for tonight that I think will be very beneficial to those people who like to hoard nail polish. Are you one? I’m not a huge nail painter. I tend to just pick it all off and have the nails of a 12 year old girl, but despite my bad nail habits, I do have quite a nice collection of nail polish. Why? Because my nail polish never dries up. Ever. How? Because I keep all of my nail polish in my fridge…. Yes, you read that correctly, my fridge, right next to my cream cheese and turkey lunch meat sits a whole bag of wonderful nail polish.
Most people find this very odd, but I swear, it works! I’m not sure how (maybe there’s some fancy science behind it, but that’s not really my area of expertise). But I’m telling you, if you start storing your nail polish in the fridge, you’re never going to have that annoying moment where you go to paint your nails your favourite shade of pink and it’s all dried up. I’ve had bottles of nail polish that I bought when I was 10 and I can still use them today. Maybe that’s slightly cheap of me, but hey, many of us could use some easy money saving tips. So maybe you spend too much money on nail polish and this little trick will save your back account. Or maybe you just want to grow your collection. Or maybe you’re like me and you just figure, why let it dry up when I can keep it forever. So yeah, maybe it is a little odd, but it’s a quirky little tip from me to you. Try it out and watch as your nail polish magically never dries up!
